first up, Chanpon Udon! seafood udon in thick soup. it's placed in a 石锅 which keep the soup boiling. ingredient includes a generous amt of scallops, squids and prawns!! i guess its the thick soup which makes the udon so special! makes it like our hor fun' but of cos more pricey! haha $14.80 a bowl, i'll give it 3.25/5.
next up is the Houba Bento Set!! u can tell from the pic tt this bento set is pretty huge!
this explains y its called a Houba set. its basically a Houba style of cooking the seafood with the Houba sauce on a piece of dried leaf! and the leaf dun get burnt!! how amazing man!! its supposed to be a special autumn japanese dish eh! there's cod fillet, scallop, prawn and squid!!! the Houba sauce tastes juz like XO sauce minus the spiciness. the seafood is fresh! an interesting dish!!
tempura is also included in the bento! TWO BIG prawns and a few veg! the prawns are crispy on the surface and the flesh is crunchy!!! NICE!!! i dunno wat leaf tt is, but it tastes surprisingly refreshing!there also 3 slices of salmon sashimi, fresh but nothing special though. its priced @ $19.90. the price may put u off a little but i can assure u the portion is big enough to share wif ur friend! which is wat i did! =) 3.75/5
sushi and i saw other nice stuff such as a bowl of ramen or udon which is bigger than our face!! i'm sure i'll come back to challenge myself wif tt! haha!!
